Looks like the other resources reader threads are about BB10 apps, what is good to replace BB News on 7.1? Are there any feedly readers?

Wow. this is really sad. This is exactly part of the problem. BB wants everyone on legacy to devices to stay, but then the amount of support for it continues to decline. It is in no way feasible or realistic to expect people to stay with devices or a software platform that you yourself as a company are abandoning. A petition should really be started to truly bring this issue to the attention of BB and Chen himself even if that's what it takes. I went from a 3G 9330 which ran OS6 to a 9350 on OS7, I haven't been on 7 long (only since January) and I have never used BlackBerry News or a basic news reader, but AP News app is pretty good.

It's BlackBerry Newsstand not BB News that's shutting down, different apps and services.

Both are EOL, news shuts down April 3rd.

Well, that put a damper on my day. Now I have to find a replacement.

Most of the replacements are for BB10, guess no one bothered with BBOS because of blackberry news.
