One of my favorite features from the galaxy s4 is the ability to have multiple stereo by having 2 devices paired together. This looks like a simple feature to implement since it only uses wifi.

I was wondering if there's such thing in BB10 or if a future update could bring this option over.

If it's through wifi, then it's probably using wifi direct (to connect two devices without the need for a hotspot), which is coming with 10.2. It could also be licensed IP in which case it would probably not be available for a while. It's a neat feature although a bunch of crappy speakers playing together doesn't really add up to anything more than a bunch of crappy speakers.

Having the possibility to connect multiple phones to get surround speakers.

You are probably better off buying a portable bluetooth speaker like the Jambox or the SP1.

Exactly... It's mostly a gimmick.

Perhaps the only marginally 'cool' application would while out on a run with a buddy and you both want to listen to the same music (using headphones obviously).
