Depends on where you're looking to buy from I suppose. People are likely importing them and raising prices to cover the costs.

It's supply and demand. Only a single run of them were made and the inventory allotted for the US was gone months ago. The current sellers know that there are BB fans who will pay good money for the few that remain, so prices are up. As I said, supply and demand.

Chromecast Audios were recently discontinued and I have seen them selling for $70 or more, and MSRP was $35.
