so far everything is running well, seems to be very responsive as far as sending and recieving... only prob i have noticed, and this may be because i am using leaked OS 5.0.0.238 for my 8900, but some of my contact pics are not syncing like they used to to facebook... some facebook pics are syncing and others are not... a friend using same OS as me on same phone is having same prob, while another friend using an official release for his storm is not ie.. all face book pics have shown up for him on new BBM... so there may be a slight bug with using the leaked OS for the 8900

Sorry to hear that... Which OS are you using? Did you de-install or install over previous version?

Go to App World, it should say "Reinstall" Do it. After that, do NOT "reboot now" or hit run after its done. Hit Reboot Later or ok. After that, do a battery pull.

well i'm pretty pleased, everything works great, the only thing i notice is that sms messages never show read, they stay as bold, and asterix'd but the LED doesn't stay on so its no big deal,...cmon official os 5!

4 people here at my apt upgraded from 5.0.0.8 leaked (which is the only version of bbm5 that leaked so its the same one you had) and nobody saw anything like that, it went fine for everyone.

I recommend people uninstall bbm 5.0 leaked and in turn download the official. I didnt have that issue however, I have 5.0.0.230, and bbm 4.7 and upgraded fine
