Id gladly take a beta. the leaked version worked perfect on my tour until I went to the higher 5.0 OSs. My girlfriend uses the leaked version all day, no issues.

i reverted back to BBM 4.7 because of delayed BBMs, sent and received.

i suppose that sounds like a server issue but it was happening for days. Since back to BBM 4.7, have had no issues.
