Does anyone use Blackberry Media player to get internet radio?
I use the Blackberry Media player for internet radio and after a 10-15 minutes of working good I totally lose my internet connection on the phone for like 5 min. I got full signal bars on the phone the whole time. When I use XPlayer and do the same trip I have no issues. What do you think is going on?
Forgive me for asking, but I can't view you provider from the wap site...are you with Verizon? If so then they may be shutting down your connection if they think you may be streaming or downloading. I have had this happen when using a lot of bandwidth. (Sharkmodem). But it does sound odd. Maybe it is just a quirk with the media player itself.

I'm with AT&T. I wonder if Blackberry Media player only works through BIS and not Direct TCP sinces Blackberry Browser is what is opening it up. and is there anyway to change that.
