    Hi,
I deleted blackberry maps some time ago, I now want to re-install as google maps doesn't cut it sometimes and blackberry maps has some features I miss!
I don't have a normal PC so I went onto the blackberry website through my phone browser, I downloaded and installed the blackberry maps installer, this was then shown in the app management in the options but there was no link/icon on the home screen, I restarted the phone and still no joy.
Can anyone help me in installing BB maps without the use of a PC? And roughly how much memory does BB maps use? Also heard I can use offline maps stored on my SD card with BBmaps.

Many thanks to anyone who can help.

I am registered with my carriers BIS apparently but using gprs/gsm, I may need to do this in a 3g area so I got the BIS symbol and re-register it.

    Cheers for the help.
