You people are ridiculous beings. How many of you actually upgraded from Z10 to Z30? How many of you own the Z30?

Its hardware is about 100% better than the Z10's. Yet still tons of you are crying about how the low speced the Z30 is even its SoC is new in terms of its official release - July 2013.

Why should BlackBerry release another all touch if the most of you wont actually buy it? Empty promises and phrases...

Leaving BlackBerry? NP, get the f*** out and stop crying over here.

Android would be last on my list, but I would immediately switch phones if one were released by any manufacturer, provided it were a portrait-oriented device, and not landscape. It's just the ideal form-factor, from my perspective.
Having said that, there are so few diehard loyalists remaining that you're probably right that the number of people who'd jump ship would likely be small.

I find the suggestion that someone will switch FROM BB10 to another platform solely for the form factor to be absolutely implausible. Even Umi acknowledged that BB10 hardware is great and the reason he switched was for Google services, not the hardware.

I'd I were BlackBerry management, I'd feel pretty confident that anyone still with me has no hardware-based reason to leave, and not take their empty threats seriously: like i'm going to switch to Android if Samsung releases a large screen portrait slider. NOPE, because it won't be running BB10.

I did even though I paid $700 for my Z10 on launch day and $600 for my Z30 and have no regrets.

The Z30 is great. If BlackBerry wants to go bankrupt really fast, they should make a full slab super phone a priority. If BlackBerry wants a slow steady march to profitability, credibility and a stable business on which to rebuild their product portfolio, they will continue with their current business-focused strategy and let the full slab advocates purchase and enjoy an excellent Z30, and let them continue to shout their empty threats to the heavens.

Good thing you aren't CEO. You'd run the company into the ground with views like that.

Actually no. I bought Z30 too, after using Z10 for more than one year, and don't regret my decision, but I still understand that some people still prefer the Z10. Because of the different form factor, and different display technology. Z10 has more ppi than the Z30.

Well said. It's unfortunate. I think this new strategy of BlackBerry is going to drive away many customers in the end. That poll here on CB showed very clearly that most of us want a touch device, but BlackBerry insist on focusing on keyboards.

I'll with you. If they don't have something high end by the time my contract is up I'll definitely be exploring moving to either Windows Phone or Samsung.

They are releasing the Z3 LTE, that is a full touch.

I have the Z10 and Z30. The specs on the Z30 with the latest update OS, there are no issues. The hardware drives the device with no lag. If the Z3 LTE is a cheaper Z30 with the same specs, then people should jump all over it. It has enough horsepower to drive the OS very efficiently.

That's not true. Go ahead and re-read.

This is what they said: "BlackBerry has distanced itself from the high-end all touch device market, at least for 2014. Don't expect a 'Z50' style device anytime soon"

A lot of N4BB content actually comes from me, and my channel.
