Blackberry Link 1.2.0.25 for Mac is coming out today. It keeps downloading 1.2.0.17, probably have to wait until later today.

Hopefully this address the reload software issue; whenever I attempt to reload my Z10's software to 10.2.1, the download just freezes near the end.

Yes I have it a 90mb update Ver 1.2.0.25 (build 17).
Total install was 143 mb.

BlackBerry Link keeps telling me there is an update. I have version 1.2.0 ( build 17) on my iMac. When I click update to get the version 1.2.0.25, it seems to download fine, restart my iMac, but BlackBerry Link still keeps telling me that there is an update for my iMac. The version doesn't change. It stays on 1.2.0.17. Does anybody else have any thoughts? I couldn't update my Z10 using Blackberry Link. It just hangs. So I just updated from my phone over WiFi.

I'm having the exact same problem and my previous build (17) keeps crashing when trying to sync the music.

Yep just finished what I thought was the update/restarted and it's now prompting me to update what I just thought I just did. This was on macbook pro.

Edit: after 3 attempts I'm noticing it not installing anything. My hard drive space hasn't moved.
So it's going through the motions but nothings installing.

It appears that the update is showing up live before it has actually gone live. The Blackberry Link web site still shows the older version as well.

I will keep trying to get the update all day and inform you guys when it goes live (for real).

The irony, before some users couldn't reload 10.2.1 on their devices using a Mac (and PC), and now you can't reload because Link requires this update but doesn't allow you to actually install it.

Now I can't sync any music for my Z10 from my iMac. It just won't do it. At the top of the BlackBerry Link screen, it says "preparing to sync", and then just stops. Weird. Getting frustrated. I had half of my music copied to my micro SD card on my Z10 before the update and BB Link worked fine. Now, no luck.

Same here. After one very fast cable sync, it won't sync to either my Z10 or Z30, using either wifi or cable.

The update vanished this morning. Blackberry Link now claims that my software (1.2.0.17) is up to date.

Might have been a premature update.

Even it can't figure it out, so it just made itself scarce so it does not have to deal with it either

Thought I was going crazy last night! Downloaded the update, rebooted then was told to download the same update again. I totally uninstalled what I currently had, re downloaded, got the same message about update again. Was confused as hell

Just an update...same thing is happening to me today...I didn't read this thread and tried downloading 3 times and then found this thread...so I'm happy to know I'm not the only one! Hopefully it is fixed soon!

If you turn off you internet then open BlackBerry Link then you won't get that update warning/error. Then you can just turn your internet back on once open.

This worked for me as a good work around when i had to restore my Q10 software and it wouldn't let because of the update warning /error.

Despite I downloaded the software within BB Link and installed it, after reboot of my Mac, it still shows the update. So how can I check which version is installed?

I wouldn't say it died. My Q10 showed me a connect to computer symbol on the screen when turned on. Does you screen turn on? Does it show you anything?

BlackBerry still hasn't fixed the update error.

I tried your workaround, it worked, thanks.. my phone now connects to Blackberry Link. The thing is, if I choose to reload the software BDSLSV2RequestURL comes out. Oh and it's still flashing the Blackberry death light. I think it's time to admit defeat.

It needs to connect to the internet to download the software. After the work around and before you hit restore connect back to the internet cause i needs the internet to download the software.
