can anyone plz help me with the above issue.
i believe minimum requirements to run bb aap world does not include bis/bes
im running on os 5.0.0.1096
have downloaded app world v4.0.0.65

the sad part is i dont have a wifi hot spot available so as to connect wirelessly

i tried almost everything
battery pull
time settings to automatic
APN settings and APN authentication
allowed permit insecure recognition in advanced security settings
host routing table registration
again a battery pull and a lot of battery pulls.
nothing seems working

is it possible to download blackberry identity connecting ur pc to the phone and where can i find the latest id version compatible with app world 4 and os 5
even though i can download contents and apps through my pc from blackberry app world as i already am registered with BBID.

That's a tough one. Looks like you tried everything recommended already.
Maybe try to call your carrier, and get the call escalated to RIM support free of charge?
