It took me a while to find this, Media Center has an Explore option.

Explore lets you select either Media Card or Device memory. Once you are there, Option opens to reveal:

Open, New Folder, Delete, Rename and Properties.

The default directories for Music, Pictures, Ringtones and Videos. Selecting a file provides the Copy in options.

Most exciting, the file manager recognizes TXT and HTM file types. I can save a http formatted document to the Media Card and view it too.

Does it work on 9000 (BOLD)? Did not manage to delete an Excel file (.xls) in my micro-SD card.

It is installed on Bold too.

Use Explore to locate the file. Presss Menu and select Properties.

If the file is unlocked, it will display Removable. It if is locked, it will allow you to check the box to unlock the file.
