The passport is the new blackberry that has found an identity.

One question I have is prosumer bb10 actually anymore secure than android and if so how?

All the stuff about google collecting data aside, just the os.

And does balance keep your personal data safe from the work side?

Does openvpn or tor w.e work well with bb10?

Tbh, being used by gov and being owned by an indian billionaire (RAW) makes me trust it less as an individual.

    Anyone, who can enlighten me?

The security of BlackBerry Balance | CrackBerry.com

    The answers are out there.

And of course it's more secure. There's a reason it's got more government security certifications than any other platform on the market.

    Simple answer:

If you are not on BES, you could just as well have an Android or iOS phone.
There are basically no security advantages whatsoever.

And "Balance" being a BES feature, is no exception to that.

As far as I know BlackBerry doesn't support TOR or open VPN, but I could be wrong for those 2.
