Sources say that Pakistan and BlackBerry have made a last-minute agreement to resolve their issues.

None of it is actual news yet. It's all rumors as neither has put out an official notice.

Hard to believe we're taking Seeking Alpha and some site called 'Pro Pakistan' as sources right now. Until I hear something from BlackBerry I'm not believing anything from sources of this quality.

What was the initial source for the BlackBerry Priv rumor?

At least a source that had a little more credibility than these. I still need a little more details than a site that's little more than day trader drivel and a rough English regional site.

These days people just read whatever and run with it.. it must be true, it's on the internet. I have no doubt there's dicussions happening and the rumors are likely accurate but... yeah. In such cases, official responses are needed, not muddled rumors.

Agreed. I think I read somewhere that BlackBerry has around 2500 enterprise customers in Pakistan. Considering they added that many last quarter it wouldn't be a huge hit to exit that crooked governments market in the long run.

BlackBerry needs to maintain their integrity.

    Wow.

You have no idea the cost and the matrix of those 2500 BES deals.

Silver or Hold device license #'s??
BES Hosted or cloud or hybrid?
How many BB10 devices are coupled and how many Privs to be coupled.

The rumour of an agreement was true, but the 'analysis' of Pro Pakistani and the resulting three words on Seeking Alpha reached the wrong conclusion of BlackBerry caving into the demand of granting access to BES communication.
