I keep getting this on my new blackberry9300 curve 3G - I have checked and re check ym email passwords and usernames, the odd thing is I can go on my browser and go to hotmail.co.uk and log in the slow way but my email app brings up this error:
Hotmail.co.uk addresses should work ok using the native email app/setup in your BB. I've tried this on a curve 3G running v6.0.0.600 and it is fine on T-Mobile UK. You might need to login to your hotmail account and enable mobile/imap settings if you haven't used it on a BB before.
I have the same problem right now!! I'm wondering whether a blackberry needs to have a full 'enterprise activation' style email address activated on it in order to be able to add an 'internet style' email address such as hotmail. Blackberry tell me it's a Vodafone issue - and vice versa!
