Were these units just written off, can't they just sell them dirt cheap like the two hundred something they are selling for in the UAE?

Who uses fido anyways? I left Rogers years ago from horrible customer service and over billing in 2005 never looked back since.

My final straw with Rogers was a $5 late fee they sent to collections. Since I rarely rented movies from them was always blockbuster.

I plunked down $5 and told the store manager where to stick it!

Doesn't really matter which company you go with the big 3 pretty much run the show. A person just has to pick which one sucks less.

Telus has been good to me for cell service every other service they offer Internet or tv sucks.
I use Fido. It's either that or Rogers unless I want to pay for service I am never going to get.

Yeah, you really showed him....it was all HIS fault.

The worst thing about these threads is I've had to defend ROGERS.....and Rogers is right up there, with MS in my "book of unabashed contempt for which I make no apology whatsoever"! LOL

It's really weird because if you go on their site(FIDO) and click on phones it shows the Z10/Q10 - when you open it up just the Q5/old curve model. Any official word. Anyone ask Fido mobile for comment on twitter and get a response?

The longer they wait, the less they can likely sell, or will have to reduce price further.

hope this is not happening more frequently ,not good for the company.

because sentiments that too bad can ruin the company, for bb already is in bad shape.

Another reason we consumers need more carriers in Canada. Too bad Verizon pulled out of considering Canada. Rogers, Bell and Telus need to listen to their customers, and if increasing competition makes that happen, then I'm all for it.

$350 for a two year deal is a tough sell.
The Q5 is $0 or $200 on a two-year contract, depending on which plan is selected. $350 is the price without a contract.

The 9360 is $0 on any type of two-year contract.

They were referring to the Z10/Q10 price on a two year contract before they were removed from the site.

This guy here. He knows how to read through a thread.

Sidebar: the Q5 started out at 49 on a two year deal with fido, and was a hard sell when the Nexus was also 49. I haven't been in store recently, so I don't know what current prices are.

It is pretty disappointing, it would be better if they could discount the Z10 and Q10 instead of keeping the low level devices.

What BS is this man...I can't believe Rogers...they made millions off RIM....
Actually, fido does not act under rogers. They just own it and fido still runs under its own name marketing and decisions.

This is true, but there's definitely some direction voluntold to them from Rogers. Just like Koodo to Telus and Virgin to Bell.
