Into my 4th year with my Z10. No complaints. Work issues my cell phone. Patiently waiting for a new virtual keyboard hand set from BlackBerry. Hamburg? So be it. Will severely miss bb10.

Had one of the Storms years ago before I came to really like BlackBerry, from then on it was the 9310 officially when I sought after and was amazed by the phone.

6 years or so for a Curve 8520, but I always had 2 phones, but this was the phone that introduced me to BlackBerry and it was great as a music player, so I kept it until almost everything on it was ready to fall off I still have it, alongside an identical one.

"Which BlackBerry device have you held on to the longest and why?"

The BlackBerry Q10 for 2 years and 6 months. The reason? It runs OS 10, has a physical keyboard, MicroSD card, blinding bright flashlight, operates smoothly and has a removable battery.

Q10. Had it for over 2 years (if it had a batter camera I'd still use it). It had the perfect size, let me communicate on any channel (mail, sms, whatapp, bbm, facebook messenger) straight from the hub without even looking at which channel I was contacted on. And, with a spare battery I could use it all day.

This. So important for me that I actually switched to the Lumia 950 when I reluctantly retired the Q10. (It also has a replaceable battery.) I curse every time I write a message longer than a sentence, and miss keyboard shortcuts, gestures and the hub, but at least I can use it all day.

(An aside, Windows phone is pretty good. I think most former BB10 users will prefer it to android...it also has the capability to change app permissions like BB10).

I agree, I much prefer it over Android. I tried the Priv, but gave it to my girlfriend. The additions that BlackBerry have made are really good. I would claim it is the most productive (and secure) Android smartphone on the market, and the build quality makes it as premium as any iPhone. Hopefully business executives catch on to it, tired of all their friends having iPhones. Saying that, it never felt right. Windows 10 Mobile is not even close to how good BB10 was, but still a lot better than Android.

The Pearl 8100 is still in use actively as its the best of KB and form factor. Fits like a glove in my pocket and the OS still works for what I need it to do. Mind you I think that the Z10 and Z30 which I also use is the best hard KB less device ever. My Passport is also in a class all of its own.
