Hi,

For some reason my BB curve decided to suddenly show me a blank screen and a constant red light. I took out the battery and put it back again and have been charging it for the past 40 mins now (thought my battery went beyond the red level). But I still don't have my phone working....

Looks like it blew up - doesn't it?

Any suggestions

Thanks but strangely enough - I do not have an apploader folder for me to delete the Vendor.xml file. in fact there is no Vendor.xml file in my RIM folder.

do you have your OS installed on your PC? You have to have your OS installed on your PC to recover/reload your OS

If you mean the the desktop device manager. then yes I have it installed.
if not, I am lost here

Also, I successfully went up to the last step in the command prompt - and have stopped.

I forced the application loader through the command prompt but now i do not get any USB:PIN detection. it's a blank field under the connection tab of the loader.

tried changing my USB ports too.
