mkurz is correct. All the speculation of 9030 and some other random numbers were all about the 9630. The 9630 Tour is a hybrid of the 8900 Curve and 9000 Bold. It is basically a Storm with a qwerty keyboard. It has the same processor and radios. RIM is basically making this the CDMA compliment of the Bold, so do not expect to see a Bold on VZW or any other CDMA carriers.

I would absolutely love the 8900 to come out on verizon

I've heard about the storm slider, which is slated to be released later this year but personally, I would hate this phone because of the slider function

I used to be a fan of the slide out keyboard until I got a BlackBerry and realized how inconvienent it was to constantly slide up the screen to type. I thought that the larger screen and keyboard were worth it.
Then I got the BB and everything about all types of communicating got so much better, more reliable and more fun as well.

So, I'm with you on this one. I'm more interested in eventually getting a Storm once I have the 9630 to replace my 8330. It'll be nice as an alternate every now and then as well as back up if needed.

BGR just stated that AT&T is getting the 8900 May 25th with 149 price with a new contract soo im pretty sure verizon isnt too far off from getting the 8930 maybe june/july just speculation for my standpoint
