    ^^^agree^^^...and well said.

    So, the reason they are dropping BIS in developed areas is because those areas no longer require the data compression or the limitations BIS produced...with LTE pipelines no compression is needed, size and or speed of transfer issues are for the most part eliminated.

    What is stopping BB from licensing out BIS, BB 7 and later OS's and even allowing them to operate their own NOC? That works for developing areas and would free up resources BB can use for R&D while still growing brand loyalty and providing much needed solutions in non LTE markets...I still love the Sony play as well...would be wonderful if done correctly and in concert with above.
