Hey!

I put together a new rendering of what I want to see in the BlackBerry Classic.

Essentially, I used a ton of key design elements from the BlackBerry Bold 9900 - Arguably the OS7 'Classic' Device.

"There's a new product called the BlackBerry Classic that's coming out. It's an updated and enhanced version of one of our most popular and successful products called the Bold. It will include a keyboard and a good touch-screen, very fast Internet, Web-browsing capability and multimedia capability." - BlackBerry

I'd like to see 10.3, and the Charging Contacts Brought back, as-well-as a silver aluminum body. Obviously the 3.5" Screen, and a traditional BlackBerry keyboard that BlackBerry users can feel at home with.

* The Blue Highlight behind the Clock Icon is intentional - It's the integrated "TrackPad" Highlight. The icon in the bottom left of the screen is a compose icon. Not a highlight text icon.*

Problem is, I'm due for an upgrade at work right now. . . I've been waiting to get the Q10, but man if this launches soon I'd be all over it. . .

I'm not sure I get it...? It looks almost exactly like BB7 devices. It's one thing to release a phone that has the toolbelt, that I get. But to have it look exactly like the devices of old seems like a big mistake to me. I applaud your effort. I certainly couldn't make a mock up like that. However, I find it to be too thick, too much bezel, and all around it just looks like an old, dated device. I really hope they do better than this...
Sorry for being a downer, just my opinion!

I would like to see a mash up of the 9900 toolbelt, Q10 Keyboard, in a Z30/Kopi style body rather than a Q10 on steroids. Beautiful craftsmanship on your renders though.

And probably that's how it will look like ;-) Hardware is the same also. I just hope it will be sold at a cheaper price: 250 $ off-contract and I think it will sell (if it will come in 4-5 months)
