    No, it's not. It's a BlackBerry 9900 with a Q10 keyboard, and other additives.

Is the screen 3.5 in? It doesn't look so! But I loved the look of it.

    Posted via CB10
It's a little difficult to scale a 3.5" Screen that's easily detectable from a distance. Realistically, the screen is actually about 3.2-3.5" on the actual rendering.

Very nice render! But the screen while without a doubt be in 1:1 factor for apps compatibility. This one seems to be the same as the Bold, 4:3 or whatever that was.

The select tool icon you put in wouldn't be useful. If you have a track pad, just hold hold and scroll and it does the trick.

And because the bottom bar is in every app, you wouldn't even have access to it when you need it. It would only be available on the home screen, where there is nothing to select

It was actually meant to resemble a 'compose' icon.

If I remember correctly it was posted that the company that built the trackpad for BlackBerry had a patent for an under the glass trackpad so perhaps the tool belt will be integrated into the screen and won't have physical buttons?

    Z30 and loving it!

I don't understand how it would be "two steps back"

The Bold 99** series is still arguably the best selling BlackBerry device to date. It would only seem logical to stick with what clearly works, while adding improvements (i.e. BB10 OS, Screen size, etc)

The Bold 99** IS the BlackBerry Classic is some degree. The new "Classic" BlackBerry 10 Device is obviously going to entice new and old users by bringing back what clearly worked. Obviously it's not going to be a shot for shot copy, but they are most likely going to use the key design elements that made the BlackBerry Bold, the BlackBerry Bold.

The 9900 has an aluminum chassis (body) but the Q10 has a plastic version. I hope they do not cheap out the Q20 but I am sure they will.

Yeah I think if they want to go "Classic" I think that means providing a premium device. It would definitely get my money in the right execution.

I still use my 9900 from time to time, just because it feels so premium, and great in the hand. If the "Q20" turns out to be cheap, I think it's not worth the branding of 'Classic' by any means.

Where is the plastic in Q10?
The Q10 is like 9900. The bezel is black but not plastic

I have the 9930 and the Q10. To be even 'more' "Classic" where's my "action" button (my name for it)? That is, where's the button on the lower right side of the 9900/9930? And definitely, with a silver bezel..

    Very nice rendering, btw.

Except it looks as if the Q10's screen height is compromised by the toolbelt, so that it's not square anymore. Is that intentional? (I never had a BBOS device. )

This is the Q10 with a belt added.

The non 1:1 Ratio screen was intentional in this design, and the BlackBerry Classic will retain a 1:1 Ratio. I didn't want to make the phone too tall, but I am working on a 1:1 Ratio rendering to stop the complaints on the main CrackBerry page.

Aha - thanks! I don't mind the 1:1 screen of the Q10 at all, but I don't want to lose any more vertical space.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'd throw money at it.

It has all the physical features I'm hoping for -- silver bezel, black chin, 4-row keyboard, hard function keys, and rounded corners. I don't want the Classic to have a black bezel, silver chin, 3-row keyboard, touchscreen function keys, and sharp corners.

This is perfection. I hope this is how the real thing would look like.
