One the physical keyboard phone or the q20 I believe may incorporate a touch capable keyboard so that people may benefit from the flicking up for auto correct as well as possible other actions. Second the all touch will be a heavy hitter in that it will be a very powerful pho.e spec wise but may also benefit from a large battery. I think BlackBerry can really capitalize and these feature to allow them to be a notable player again.

I have a strong feeling this Octa-Core 64 bit Z50 will be out by the end of the year. It's obvious Mr. Chen understands the urgency of getting BlackBerry on track fast. To me, he has been right on point with every move so far. I can't believe the Z3 was conceived , created and passed testing in less than four months. That has to be a record.

I like that the company is providing options to cover more users, who have different needs and preferences. There's a high-end full-touch (Z10, Z30), a budget full-touch (Z3), a high-end QWERTY with no toolbelt (Q10), a budget QWERTY with no toolbelt (Q5), and a QWERTY with toolbelt (Q20). Can't wait to see what else Mr. Chen and BlackBerry has in store for the market.

Flagship or not....TMO USA customers will probably never see it. I'm stuck on Z10 if they don't start offering newer BlackBerry phones.

This would be the only time I would switch to Droid, but only by force and I'd get the newest Sony Xperia if I had too. If its the Z1S or Z2 at the time.

This BlackBerry and TMO squabble has hurt TMO Blackberry faithfuls. Its not the companies taking hits, its the consumers.
This sux!! TMO turned their backs on us and I can't switch carriers and I can't afford to buy unlocked BB phones.
I hope BlackBerry makes a phone that causes TMO to have egg on their face. I'm ticked!!!!!

The days carriers would just offer blackberry phones because they are blackberries is over. Strategically this could put them back on the map and in the centre of attention.

You hit the nail on the head. At first carriers we happy (or acted so) to carry the first BlackBerry 10 phones (Z10 & Q10) but when they fell flat for various reasons (lack of effective marketing, overpriced compared to competitions offerings, buggy OS, lack of apps) that quickly went away. Right now in the states only Verizon is carrying the Z30 and no stores have them in stock or even on display. BlackBerry will be able to get the US carriers to carry the Q20 because there are still a lot of old bb 7 users who love their toolbelt but need an upgrade.

As for the new Z model? BlackBerry would have to bring something competitive to the market and something that shows better than the Z10 or even the Z30 do. I like the phones but really their not really pretty to look at. I remember a reviewer once saying about the Z30 "It's neither dynamically complex nor is it ironically simple, it's just kinda there." So they need cutting edge hardware (snapdragon 801 or 805, adrino 330 GPU, 16 MP camera, 5.0-5.2 inch super AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, 3000 mAh battery, stereo speaker cause BlackBerry does sound so well, new design that's lighter and thinner than the Z30) at least that's what I think.

BlackBerry needs to let the World know we are not here to mess around.

Make the critics choke on their coffee and corn flakes when BlackBerry releases a 128 bit device with Octo core processor, 1080p screen 16 megapixel back camera and an 8 megapixel front camera with a battery that lasts a week from a single charge.

Lock down the patents so that everyone should buy from BlackBerry for their batteries even Google.

Look into Graphene battery and be the first company to have one built in a device.

Nice. I REALLY hope that one carrier who was excited about the Q20 is AT&T. Although it's more likely to be Verizon, but AT&T hasn't been as negative on BB as some of the other carriers. I still see live working samples in their stores.
