I saw this website pop up a few months back. Any chance this phone makes it to market?

BlackBerry Blade by Pixelcarve

I am running an adroid now and I can't wait to get back to a blackberry. At some point someone had to understand that design will win customers. So far all the phones from every company look like me to phones.

Unfortunately I don't think it has a chance. This concept has been around for well over a year. Just a pretty concept.

I will either buy the q20 or the new flagship when comes out. I sure do miss a physical keyboard ( and I miss having a BB)

I only came across this website July 2013. Any idea why pixel carve would have this site up?

I would assume the design firm is proud of this design/concept so they just left it up. No harm.

If I look at blackberry blades Facebook page they only posted the site August 2013.

Anyway my fingers are crossed, but regardless I am heading back to blackberry at the end of this year or early next year.

sliders although a nice idea are way to costly to manufacture and they probably wont happen. Nice concept though i like the thin design. i just think we have to be looking ahead like someone else said this was around about a year ago. you have to be thinking 1-2 years ahead because by the time they get it to market it needs to be that much better. hopefully people keep coming up with these kinds of designs not this square box with a logo and a camera. Thatts about as exciting as watching paint dry. Actually i think watching paint dry is probably more exciting then that.

Except that this design would have ****ty battery life and poor ergonomics due to most of the weight being in the part that is slid upwards rather than in most sliders where it is just the screen that does like on a Torch.

It's visually stunning. I've never been a fan of sliders, but I'd get that one for sure.

I always liked a physical keyboard, but now that I have the Z10 I prefer the larger screen. This would be best or both worlds.

I would love to see this. Whatever they come out with, I just hope it sells. I went over to android during an upgrade cycle where I had a bold 9900 for work and picked an HTC for my personal phone.....as bb10 was nowhere in sight yet. I miss my BB and really hope the company can survive.
