Blackberry and Blackberry connect question

I wasn't sure which forum to post this at, so I posted it in the general forums.

Right now I'm using a windows mobile smart phone with blackberry connect.
When I use the internet on my phone it has to switch from Blackberry edge to T-Mobile Edge connection (takes a few seconds but annoying) and I won't be getting any emails when it's not on the Blackberry edge connection.

so it just switches back and forth between Blackberry (egde) and T-Mobile (edge) when I use the internet and I find it really annoying. Are Blackberrys like this or is it just for blackberry connect?

But, to clarify. I have never had this experience on my actual BlackBerry. I do not have experieince with BB Connect.

But I keep a solid EDGE signal the entire time ;)

haha I wasn't sure how to ask it.. and yes I have a TyTN II on t mobile.. oh ok.. do you get emails while using the browser?
