    Yeah but if you're "hammering out thousands of emails a day", you need a PKB we've been told. ;-)

    It really depends on the individual. There are trade offs as you've stated. There is no common "best".

    In my line of work, YES!! My work requires lots of messaging.. SMS, Email, other messenger apps. I handle about 100 people, and nothing beats blackberry in keeping things well coordinated. It's the perfect phone for me.

    In journalism, medicine, and legal professions they are behind and falling further behind unless you count the Priv.

    Have some friends in nursing... they use some surface pro's at one of the local hospitals (the other just uses laptops on a cart) and neither hospitals issue smartphones to nurses or doctors. But personally they do using iOS devcies as there are a number of medical "tools" that help them "personally".
