I'm gonna get a new job as a driver and I was just wondering which Blackberry out right now or in the future(1Q) has the best overall GPS on it?

I used the bold 9000, and I can say i got a lock to gps within 20 seconds while outside everytime. It seemed pretty accurate where i was at all times as well.

Im sure any phone after that (bold 9700) has the same if not better results.

    Cannot speak for older devices.

There is no difference on GPS on a BB other than Software and Cell Tower Placement.

I would invest in a GPS Bluetooth puck. They are relatively cheap used. Or "dongle" as they are called. Look for a Holux with a sirf III chip, or at least another with that chipset or better. You will save major battery loss on your BB. I have the GPS slim 236 and it is rated to go 12 hours on a single charge. It's small. But there are others even smaller like the 240. You could I guess just plug them in with a car charger, either the BB or the puck.
