Anyone think it could possibly be verizons version of the 8520? 8530 perhaps?

I forgot where we were in this conversation so had to go back and reread the thread, when I came up with this quote (must have missed it the first time). It made me think about the model # designations for the phone.

    GSM - xx00
    GSM w/ WiFi - xx20
    CDMA - xx30

I'd think that the Atlas would have a different code for CDMA w/ WiFi. If so, anyone have any guess as to what it would be? My guess is xx40. I don't believe I've seen that used on any others (that I can recall at least)

I was thinking kind of the same thing. I was thinkng that they may just ad a "w" to the end but i guess that could confuse people into thinking it is a world phone.
    How about
    8335
    8340
    8430
    8440

IF (yes if) it is the cameraless version of the Tour with the addon of WiFi, then it's a 96xx. And 40, 60, 70, 80 or 90 are available. 00 is often a new series. 8100, 9000, even the 8900, while seemingly a curve update, has all new hardware. 10 was GPS no WiFi. 20 is WiFi/UMA no GPS. 30 is CDMA. 30WE is CDMA World Edition. 50 is IDEN. So, 9640, 9660, 9670, 9680, or 9690.

So Verizon are now talking about this - any update on expected release dates? And confirmed that it is basically a BOLD with CDMA

I am so done with my STORM - great idea but below average User Interface - and still hangs.....
