I bought a used unlocked blackberry 8320 cell phone from someone and I was upgrading the applications using the Blackberry Desktop Manager and deleted the old applications and now it is asking for a device password and I can't figure it out. Please help. Nothing happens when I turn on the cell phone. No applications and I need the device password. Where can I get this?....

then yes its the same thing
the device has a password associated with it
if you could contact the person you bought it from and get the password
or try and type a password that you maybe had

so you can turn it off and on and it does not ask for a password but when connected to your dm it does ....
I say try and go and add a password to the berry and then connect it to the dm and see if that works
or when you connect the berry to dm hit cancel and then press none next to were it say's device connected (pin) and you will see a grey box and a tab that say's none hit that then look for the pin number associated with your berry you have connected
