I'm a bit of a phone creep. I'm always trying to see what phones people are using. Of course most of the phones I see out in the wild are Android and iPhones. Knowing what particular brand or model isn't important to me.

So I'm at a small work related Christmas party here in London Ontario Canada, there are 9 people at my table. The break down would be 5 business owners and their significant others. Of the 9 people I was able to see what phones were being used by 5 of them.

There were 2 BlackBerry Q10's, 1 BlackBerry Z10, one Samsung flip dumb phone and 1 BlackBerry Z30. I saw no other smartphones, all Blackberries.

It's been a long time coming but I think BlackBerry is back, at least amongst the business owners in my city.

I suspect if you went to an event with 9 teenagers would be different. Business is BB's market especially in Canada, no surprise there.

Last week I saw 3 Z30's owned by teenagers or around that age. And no I'm not counting my Z30 :P one of my sisters has a white Z10 and other sis has a Z30 coming for Christmas. We're all teenagers too!

I walked into my local suit designer the other day, he had a black passport and beside him was a client with a q10 and another with a black z10.

I see a lot of Q10s and some Passports in the Canadian hospital I work in (wondering how many Classics I'll see). Some z10s and only seen one other z30 on the street.

Saw my first Passport in the wild yesterday. The guy I was meeting with regarding a prospective contract had a Passport and an old Curve. He was transitioning from the the curve. I asked him about it and he said he was loving it and it was getting a lot of attention. I mentioned the work wide app and he was excited to try it. It was the black one with silver trim.

This was in Vancouver.

Oh, and I am not the only z30 in my company any more. We bought 3 or 4 more and they went to some other senior managers over the last week or so. Everyone else is either z10 or q10.

Spotted a few here in KC metro area. While traveling to India via London a few weeks ago, I saw a few Q10 and Z10 in Chicago as well as in India. Not one Passport. I also didn't spot any BB10 while doing transits in London which was surprising.

Earlier in June this year, I saw lots of Z10 and Q10 in Poland. I was happened to be there the same week Obama was visiting Poland so I assumed there were more people coming in and out of Warsaw than usual.

Yeah I was talking to one of my mates (I haven't seen him in a while) about a new phone and he live BlackBerry so he tolde me would get the Z10 I was searching for one too. So now he owns a z30 and I have a z10. He fell in love with the Z30 while he was buying the Z10

I see BlackBerry all the time.
Maybe cause I work in banks and Government offices, as well as other business offices.

But I see everything from the older BBOS7 and the newer BB10 (Z10, Z30, and Q10 - mainly)

I've seen about a dozen BB10 devices but not one Z30. One Passport, my ex got one. He's trying to get used to it, he said. He got it through Amazon.

Have fun finding out. There also countless of will there be a 16:9 high end phone after z30? In 2015? Will BlackBerry stop making phones? Blah blah blah.

Girl sat next to me on the train the other day. She had a white Q10. I happen to think that is one of the best looking BB10 devices out there. I tried not to stare too much; didn't want her thinking I am some kind of creepy stalker or anything.

That I recall I've only seen three. A brother from church, a customer in a tmobile and some guy shopping at staples on black Friday (Thursday). Compared to everything else being iPhone and Android lol. Dang that's crazy. I think I've only seen three windows phone. Two low end because of price and one high end.
