Hey guys,

Can someone please correct me:

Since BlackBerry automatically connects to your BIS with wifi only (no need for sim), does't that also mean, if we swap micro sim cards (I travel a lot), we will be able to use our BB 10s normally with no disruption?

No... It needs your sim to recognize that you have an account. I have my 9700 still since upgrading to the Z10 and it can surf the web, but emails and BBM do not work.

Since BB services are linked to your BBID login, and BIS is not used with BB10, I'm assuming that switching SIM cards is easier now since all you would have to do is login to BBID on the new SIM and it is automatically linked you your account, and no need for help from your carrier to register your SIM on the BB network. Can someone with a Z10 and multiple SIM's confirm this?

I just popped out one SIM in my Z10, popped in a different one I happen to have sitting here, called the device, sent an email from the Z10 through my IMAP account, and am now posting this reply.

Not sure if that answers the question but it's what I did. ;-)
