I stand by my statement. Apple does not innovate much just refines and repackages devices with nice design. Now all of you Apple clowns, you are at the wrong fan site. So leave.

You don't even know what "design" is. Design is not all about making things look good, btw, and Apple takes the crown in this area. Look up "Bauhaus" if you are totally clueless about this.

I know the German school of design. My point is Apple products are an evolution rather than a revolution of what transpired before.

If that is your definition, then there has been no revolution in the computer industry since ENIAC (first Turing complete), no revolution in the aviation industry since the Wright Flyer.

Actually, if you read The Tipping Point, you quickly realize it applies to Apple and it's mastery of the little thinks to be a big difference in making people aware and it's industrial designs achieving popularity.

It's nice to see the Apple brigade arriving in it's defence.

Actually the only products, I consider, revolutionary in technology recently is Microsoft Kinect and ion pulse rocket engines. I am sure there is more but those are two that come to mind.

I have to say though... Iphone is a good phone but apple do a bloody good job with advertising... They've made it a sort of tradition now that all apple fans will always queue up for the next release regardless if its a little improvement from its predecessor... I myself even got hooked when I saw siri...but after a few weeks my mates who had the iphone finally admitted siri isn't all that... All that hype built just because of advertising... The iphone is good no doubt.... But the difference between people buying the phone and queuing up and going mad over it is all down to Marketing... That has built up apples image
