We all know were getting very close to the 10,000 mark with all these devices comeing out so fast. Do you guys think there will be a Even Blackberry 10,000 device or do you think they will do something else. What do you guys think
I don't think they could go with a lower number without the end user thinking it was a downgrade. i.e. they couldn't go to the 100's again. Might go Intel's route when they went from the 486 to the Pentium.

You're probably right. But how did they come up with 8900 after 9000 and how did they come up with 8520/8530 after 9520/9550?
i think they will continue with words. tour, storm, bold curve then numbers after that like 8330 8350i and such to give the phone a name and to which phones are more for business use and more for personal use. like the black berry 8350i doesnt have a camera. you get what im saying.
Actually, I believe they are dropping the model numbers entirely. Of course with as many as eight different Curves it would be hard to identify which one someone is referring to, but seeing that the new Storm isn't called Storm, but rather Storm2, maybe RIM will continue that trend.
I do hope though they don't mix letters with numbers; too many are using that right now.
I think it would be better of they started giving names to all the phones and using that instead of referring to the numbers. Like Blackberry Curve instead of 8310.
