This is just anecdotal evidence but SIM-free Z10s from The Carphonewarehouse have shot back UP in price by over 100 (from 229 to 350) and 'the phone that should never have happened' (according to American CrackBerry users at least) the 9720 is still on backorder. That phone is still selling for the outrageous price of 169.95. Haha omg

So they dropped the price and then increased it again?

I remembered that they did it at launch too!

Sales Rep in 3 store said they were not going to stock BB10 anymore. I have never seen a BB10 phone in the wild.
I have a feeling they are not doing well.

Not a nay sayer. Just being realistic the Q10 was supposed to sell 10's of millions. And we all know how that turned out.

Not to mention they are selling 'manufacturer refurbished' (i.e. like new) by reputable sellers on Ebay for around 200. I recommend a particular Ebay seller called 'the_phone_outlet' where a manufacturer refurbished Z10 is currently going for 209.99. There's also a few Q5s going for the same price.

That was the $50 million dollar man speaking out of his backside again ... but we know all along he has just been prepping to sell the company so he can make a personal fortune.

Unfortunately the q10 bombed hardcore in the US(where I'm located), every store I go into you have to search just to find one and none of the sales staff care/know about it. Quite sad, it's a hell of a qwerty device.

If Kantar numbers are to be trusted, the UK has turned into a weak spot.

The downtrend appears to have stopped/reversed in a number of markets but the UK doesn't appear to be one of them.

As I understand, however, Kantar doesn't include corporate sales. A financial centre like London might favor sales of this type. Though this would be as speculative as anecdote.

Hopefully some of these promotions as well as the Q5 get the Brits back on Black.

I'm in the UK and recently bought my Q10 through Carphone Warehouse - but online as it was a cheaper upgrade.

I did go into the Ornage shop where they had a Q5 and Z10 - no sign of the Q10. I saw one in the Tesco mobile phone shop but that's it, nowhere else - but not been actively looking.

    I'm happy with my Q10 so I don't care.

Several financial institutions and magic circle firms consult with me - predominantly in the City of London and Canary Wharf - yes, as the chap below pointed out - one will find bbos devices issued to Investment Bankers, Corporate Solicitors and the like. This is on a diminishing scale. Several firms are migrating away from BlackBerry, towards a bespoke Android solution and/ or iOS.

Sad but true - I've not seen one Z10 in the wild, and perhaps a couple of Q10's - all in conjunction with other devices. But then Silverlake is deeply entrenched with Microsoft and the UK office has taken a stock of GS4's - so professional investment relationships do not necessarily translate into hardware procurement and SLA's.

Whatever the case, people are not buying BlackBerry and that's sad.

I'm happy with my Z and Q10 devices (both bought full price and off contract - I'm certain my PA has it in for me after having to queue up!). But, there it is.
