if im running 4.5 along with bis 2.5 i should be able to push hotmail now, correct?

Also, if 2.5 has the added commitment with microsoft, shouldnt i be a ble to get a mobile version of msn messenger/ windows live messenger??

I'm not on either of those and I can still push hotmail. Just add it through BIS and it should work :-)

Hotmail only includes POP3 access if you have had an address since it was included or you pay the $20 a year.

ok, i'm confused. I've read that BIS 2.5 allowed push AOL & Hotmail and did not require 4.5 software upgrade. Also, i assumed that meant you didn't have to pay the $20 for the Plus account. can anyone clarify?

With 4.5 O.S. and BIS 2.5 you can have your hotmail pushed free. If you don't have either and signed up back when they first started hotmail basically then you don't have to pay and can add it, otherwise its like $20 to get it. AOL I'm not sure since I don't use it. I have a beta 4.5 and now I'm able to get my hotmail.
As for messenger I have always had it since I bought my Curve.
