What is a Bezel and what does it do? Is it different from the side thing you need for your bb or different from the front and back thing how does it work?

okay so i need to reaplce everything on my cruve the right corner is also cracked so does that mean i need this peice Bezel thing or do i need "side rails" what the heck im so lost!
