Don't really find it shocking but majority are saying, like I do, the 9900. Find it sad that BlackBerry lost something after the 9900. It's like they reached their climax and everything since then for hardware was downhill.
Don't get me wrong, the Z30, Passport and whatever other BB10 devices are great but could never capture that something special in the 9900.

Even BB10's browser is starting to misbehave on certain sites. In fact, I switched from using the stock browser a couple of months ago.

Yup. Noticing that also for the last couple months. Stock browser isn't as good as it used to be. Just minor weird things happening with it. Majority is loss of performance.
I figure most updates that were sent out always included some stock browser tweaks. Now with updates very few and even farther between it just gets worse.

The Z30 was a great love of mine but I have to say I've fallen for the Priv and I can't see myself go back to anything else.

Kinda like Apple going downhill after the climax of iPhone 4.

    Bold 9900......

If they had been able to improve the browser.... it would have been perfect for that era.
For me the non-focus camera was more of an issue. Really odd that my 9700 took better pictures. That made me scratch my head.

Bold 9900 was a my favourite. It was a solid device and it did very well what it was suppose to do. Smaller footprint even in early days of bigger screen and although not the device itself but 9900 lock stock and barrel was epitome of what Blackberry quintessentially WAS.
All said, Passport on BB10 is almost in same league as 9900 was and apart from few hardware niggles like screen lift other users have, I find it a solid and very unique device. This thing will still turn heads 15 years from now. Running on bb10 it is on upswing over 9900.

Love my Z30's and will continue to use them until BB pulls the plug and they simply won't work anymore. I have 2 new spares in the file cabinet in case something horrible happens to the 2 we're already using.

And if anything happens to those, I guess we could always fall back on the Z10's we used to use; they weren't bad phones either. Also sitting in the file cabinet.

Lol. No hair left from scratching my head trying to cipher BB logic. To this day, they've never failed to include a critical flaw when getting too near perfection. Fear of success? Idk.

9900/9930 really was ergonomic perfection in hardware design. And my hands are still the same size they were 5 yrs ago. BUT, that camera! ... Go figure. Lol.

If I recall correctly, the party line at the time was that they could not get an auto-focus camera in a device that thin.... but my memory may be playing tricks on me.

That agrees with my ancient bio-neural archives as well. Camera tech was still catching up, I guess.
