If anyone needs a trade in phone, I've got a 8900 I'll give for $25.
    Pick up in Toronto.

BBRY needs to push all carriers to have such programs. There are still way too many people on legacy BBOS devices, especially older models with contracts already completed.

Telus has had these buy-back promotions for a while now, so it's great to see Bell doing so also.

It should say trade in any phone and receive $50 off a BlackBerry.

Lol! Some people want to remain on BIS devices or keep their users on them, too. Can you believe that?

Most people having bought a BBOS device in the last 4-8 quarters are located in emerging markets or/and are on a cheap Curve.

Of course having these buy back deals is better than nothing, but I think that you overestimate the importance in "developped" nations.

Let's just say it like this:
Under the current market paradigm, BIS will lose its importance completely and very soon, if it doesn't evolve to something far greater than what it is today.

50 dollars is nothing when they
are overcharging for the new one.

So what do you advocate for the millions of users of perfectly good OS7.1 devices then? If they won't buy a BB10 device then screw them?
