    This also means BlackBerry will not get that back monthly service revenue. Legacy devices pay BlackBerry monthly to BlackBerry. Roughly 4$ month

    I'm pretty sure they'd rather take the device gross margin and likely app purchases over BIS income but that's just me.

    True, but they need to get their own customers to adopt BB10 or BB10 may not survive.
