How's the digital keyboard for you Z users? Might change over to the next Z phone whenever it comes out. Something about this 3" screen on my Q10 kinda is making me feel like I can't see as much as I should when looking at my phone. I miss my generous 5" screen on my old Galaxy that I use at home here and there over wifi.

The reason I would decline to use a physical keyboard device, now, lack of screen real estate. I've completely adapted to touchscreen typing, as long as I have some haptic feedback. My eyes aren't getting any younger, ya know...

I live my Z10. Don't think I would go back to the physical keyboard. Z30 would likely be a great choice for you.

@gokulesh But have you seen how ugly that thing is? Lol. Maybe when it comes out it'll look much better than the photos we're seeing now, but nonetheless I'm not really feelin' the three-row keyboard....i like four row!

I agree and it really should be up higher a bit. It might even look better with a classic kb that is centered at the bottom.

Oops. The Z30 has a great kb. Turns my crap typing into what I really intended to type.

Get a Z30. You will love it. It is the best of legacy BB + the fun of iOS and Android rolled into one. Plus it has a nice big screen. I currently use a Bold 9900 for work, and while the keyboard is nice, the virtual one on my Z30 easily takes it.

I was a 9900 user. It was a workhorse and had a great keyboard. I was very hesitant about getting accustomed to a Z10 virtual keyboard. I was blown away after about a week of use. I type faster and more accurately on my Z30 than on my old 9900. It's fantastic. The Z30 is a beautiful beastie.

Love my Z10 keyboard, but I've been using my wife's new Q10 a bit lately, and I'm pretty much convinced I'm getting the Classic/Q20 when it comes out as a replacement! Love the physical qwerty.

Personal preference. That's what this discussion is all about. I used the Z10 from the moment it landed in my city. Loved it. Thought I'd eventually move up to the Z30. Never happened. The Q10 for me is perfect. No mistakes at all while typing. Now that I've moved back to a physical keyboard I cannot see myself using an all touch screen device unless I'm forced to. Looking forward to the release of the Windermere.

I loved my Z10 but I can't imagine going back after owing a Z30. It's got everything except the physical keyboard. Granted I was never in love with my keyboard on my first BB (Torch) but this flick typing is awesome. I roll off whole sentences one flick per word at times. Using an iPhone or Android makes me want to metaphorically gouge my eyes out..

As for the keyboard, if it's for you well enjoy but if you can get your hands on a Z30, I highly recommend it.

I know what you mean I had the 9810 I loved it to death well still have it. I moved up to the Z10 had the z10 and the q10 came out the same time I may would have gotten it but when I saw the screen size I got deterred. I now have a z30 and I love love Love it had they came out with the z30 when Z10 launched BlackBerry would have been on top again but ya I like my Z10 a lot had it not been stolen would have been using it up to now. The only real issues I had with it was the battery life and the lack of apps not Z10s fault but BlackBerry in gen. It use to shake my gf S5 in every aspect. Most Samsung products are so laggy it was like dealing with vomit using it lol I use to cringe when she needed me to do something for her on it. I always use to ask her what's wrong with it is her memory low or something ewww. But any how ranting now but ya I have high hopes for the windermere hopefully they improve the designs on that one if not I'm just gonna wait for the next gen models. But you must try the Z30 it's heaven I do miss my physical key board and all because for the obvious less mistakes plus you can really type without looking on it because you can feel where the keys are but other than that I have no issues with my Z30.

This "love" to "live" typo was driving me crazy, and makes me appreciate my Q10 more. I do agree that the BB10 virtual keyboard is pretty darn good but there are still idiosyncrasies that drove me nuts. And I love the shortcuts on the Q10. I use the Playbook and the Z10 for larger screen viewing when I need to.

Yup. I find that I'm changing the way I'm communicating and need the keyboard less and less. I should've waited and z30'd instead. But, hepatic feedback is a must.
