To think that I paid for this app. It misses badly on forecasts on a regular basis. I watched it go from 20% to 80% to 30% chance of rain within a couple of hours today for today's weather forecast. It does this all the time.

They use Weather Underground as a source. It is a combined crowd - source, meteorologist system. Perhaps there aren't a lot of users in your particular area.

    "Community Backed by Science

The vast amount of weather data we collect only becomes meaningful when combined with the scientific expertise that our team of meteorologists provide. Our proprietary forecast model leverages our personal weather station community to provide the most reliable and localized forecasts available."

What app do you recommend? Radar would be nice.

Although I liked the look of BeWeather Pro, I found the link to Environment Canada's mobile website was by far the most accurate. I used a link to my local radar as well, also operated by Environment Canada.

Many people find the built-in BB10 weather app (by Accuweather) very good.

I find that, in the UK, the BBC weather is the only app that works in any way that can be called "accurate".

All the others that I have tried are next to useless.

The BBC app is also free.

For radar: Weather Radar USA. Fast, flexible and clear.

Thanks for the lolz (must be different in my area)

I actually find the built in BlackBerry weather app (powered by AccuWeather) to be the best of any I've tried

BeWeather Pro works exceptionally well for me here in California. Usually is more accurate than Accuweather my wife uses on her Z30. And I love the UI and graphics.

I like those things too but the actual forecasts are consistently way off.

Gotta agree it's pretty inconsistent for the $4.99 they charged.

Almost identical here today and no comparison in regards to UI. As noted it's fairly consistent in my neck of the woods.
