    hello,
i am interested to know how BBSAK Application is differentiating between 3rd party application and default application even if they are starting with net_rim_bb.
for example i installed face book in blackberry 8300
the module is starting with net_rim_bb_facbook
so how does it recognize as 3rd party application.
    any help would be appreciated..(urgent)

    Thanks

Net_rim_bb_facebook would belong to the RIM developed Facebook app; which means it's an add-on, not third party.

    Thanks for your reply.
ya i checked it but it is the case only if firm is above 5.0.
if the firmware if less then 5.0 it comes under the list of applications.then how can BBSAK recognize it as 3rd party app.
i want to know the logic behind recognition.
    thanks

anything that is not part of RIM's core or their own apps? as genemos said, RIM apps are add-on, and then the OS apps are "core"

Might ask the dev. I'm sure there's an API BBSAK uses that identifies and differentiates between core/default cod's and anything that can be added on, ihat's usually how such things are done.
