I'm sure some of you may have already experienced the problem where you can't call someone on iPhone. By the way I'm using z10 and i can see green icon which means the other party is available but after calling my receipt get missed called.

It is very disappointed and i hope BlackBerry can address this at their earliest.

i use it all the time with my family who i phones. Just make sure they have it open with a strong wifi signal.

It can also be set with that icon to appear green while on your regular signal. And I've used Bbm voice from my Q to s4 and iPhone s4 worked fine

I'm in Canada and my daughter is in Wales. She had an iphone4 and I have a Z10. Both with the newly released bbm os. The first couple of calls we made to each other on bbm were not good. However after a couple of days, everything worked perfectly and still does. Perhaps the bbm os update needed time to work through each of our phones?

Sorry if I've got the technical terms wrong! But it does work and works well. The video features are also good if she goes to a strong wifi signal area. Wifi signals are weak in some of the Welsh Mountain areas.

Easy solution. Turn your notification setting to alerts (on iPhone) and then it should work when the app is closed

This issue has been going on for a while, it's a server issue and many users complained but no one is listening, my family moved from BBM back to Skype because BBM doesn't work anymore.

Calls to my friend's iPhone is of a great quality on BBM. Wifi does play a factor and calls will get disconnected if she gets an incoming call.

I hope someone did because I just tried it again and I was let down, everyone is asking why it only works when they call my BlackBerry.

I called my brother using BBM voice from my Bold 9930 to his iPhone 4S a couple days ago, and it worked great.

Please, this is not a thread for people to come in here and say it works for them, the issue is regional and is affecting the Middle East and my family keeps asking why calls only get through to BlackBerry devices and never get through to iPhones or Androids, it's been like this for 20 days now and a lot are losing hope and going back to Skype.

I just called me from IOS7 no problems there.it possibly is a carrier issue. However a friend contacted their carrier and was told their carrier doesn't support the feature.

Not a carrier issue obviously, I tried it on Wifi and Mobile Network and still only goes through to BlackBerry devices and not Android or iPhone, calling from Android to Android or iPhone is completely impossible.

Best thing to try is to send them a BBM message before your call and /or try to be online with an iOS user in BBM when you initiate. Once you see a "D" then you can call. Otherwise BBM won't be running in order to pick up your call because iOS puts processes like BBM to sleep and only periodically sends a ping message after long gaps in time (many minutes.) This is also why regular BBM messages are in the checkmark stage for so long for iOS users indicating it is in the server waiting to be delivered. (It's not as noticeable on other platforms because of their misleading UIs. )
