You don't have to set anything up, per se, you register here: https://store.blackberry.com/direct/ buy the license and after 24 hours or so you're good to go. At least that's how I remember it. Nothing changes at your end so using BBM remains exactly as it did before, there's no set up or downloading you need to do.

Before you buy the license you have to register at that site using your BBID.
