He was the previous management's boy. Chen needs someone loyal to him and that shares his vision. BlackBerry needed this type of C suite house cleaning when Mike and Jim left. I only wish John Chen had replaced Mike and Jim and not TH. I think BlackBerry would be in a much better spit if house had been cleaned long ago.
