I don't think so. It's a great social media/messaging app, but I don't think it serves another purpose.

I use it to talk with really one person, my fiance, and sometimes one co-worker.

All my other BBM contacts have left for other devices.

I get into pin sharing on this site. I have a handful of CBers I love talking to when I have access to BBM. I also sign up for a few fun groups.

Well, there is BBM music, a ton of connected apps including games like BBM battles, and if you want to make friends and join groups, there are a few social chats and message boards like smoothie and Jingu. Once you make new friends, you can use apps like Jingu to make avatars and emoticons, use gif files for your profile, and of course share files. BBM just keeps on changing and evolving for the better. I can't wait to see what's next!
