I know a lot of people didnt want to pay for it so the service died rather quickly. I'm sure do miss this service and BlackBerry should have made it free with ads. Spotify is now free I am sure they have to make money off of ads rights?
Point of this thread is I would love BBM Music on BlackBerry 10. Am I the only one that misses it????

I actually liked BBM Music but what I didn't like was the 50 song limit. I want to be able to pay a fixed monthly fee and get access to all the songs I can eat. Just like I do on Spotify today. If BlackBerry had that option in BBM Music I would have signed up in a heart beat.

It was great. I loved the social aspect of sharing songs, commenting on other user's profiles with music suggestions and the like. It was a fun service to use when you filled out your contact limit.

I really think BlackBerry should have expanded on this model and brought social to movies and books as well, maybe even sharing apps that your contacts have too.

It was a great way to get users more involved with the content on their phones.

I agree with this. BBM has to be more stable and reliable between users of different platforms before BlackBerry tries to add a huge service like BBM Music.

I used BBM Music on my 9900 and 9810, and I thought it was a good service. BBM has huge potential... it just needs to impress different platform users as a messaging application first before it adds anything else.

I would also like people to stop grumbling about paying anything and pay up for artists and their work. So annoying when people want the service or product.... but.. wait for it... for free. I agree with your general point. Way too many people want free music, free downloads, free movies etc. It's astounding to me how much sentiment there is for pirating products others worked to produce. These forums are not immune from that sentiment. One thing though, BBM music was not free. It charged a monthly fee that I gladly paid. I was very disappointed to see it disappear.

+1 in BBMM! I stayed subbed from beta to the end. It was kinda like channels in some ways. Would be awesome to incorporate into channels

Man I loved BBM Music! The playlist wasn't particularly large and I didn't have any BBM Music contacts, but I liked being able to switch out music since I have what I like to call Music ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) In with the new songs I can't keep out of my head, out with the old that I don't listen to as often anymore.

I'm using Slacker and iHeart more, but they're still not as good IMO.

Maybe someone should write all the reasons BBM music is needed and how it be so much better on BB10 and someone will post it on the front page with the petition attatched. I think it had potential and wish it was still around.
I think if it was a paid subscription but I could stream for free would be great.
