    Crazy is good!
It's the rest of the people on the bus (the normal ones) that you have to watch out for!

    Truly funny, OP.
On a serious note, this "glympse" embedded feature in the BBM is simply brilliant. Came in very handy just a few hours ago when I had to help my "better half" navigate around an unexpected road blocked for "Winter Carnival" in Brantford ON. It was sweet to be able to tell her which streets to turn (while sitting in my home office about 2 hrs drive from her location).

When I made the observation that this could become this exact problem in another Glympse thread, I was given many lectures on proper relationship techniques, etc...

We've been together since '86, thanks for the lessons...

I used to be able to cheat on my girl all the time!

NOW she always requests that I send her my location whenever I'm out at night creeping. So thanks for nothing BlackBerry my cheating days are over

Imagine if Glympse was originally called "G-Spot" instead then your girl would be even more suspicious of your activities.

I think BlackBerry foresaw this problem and built a workaround. The Glympse integration fails occasionally and you could tell that you are trying to send but it doesn't seem to work. I believe they deliberately made it unreliable.

So, to have an alibi, you offer to send a location attachment (in the section where you send files). The location picker allows selecting your current location OR one of the known places. So, you choose one of the friends locations and voila.

Can we have a "Glympse" of what your girlfriend looks like? Maybe I would like to share my location with her

    10.2.1.1925 and never going back.

"The ScionicMan", there is always good and bad to everything. All we can do is hope for best possible outcome.

My better half was not receptive to this "glympse" feature just this morning. She said she doesn't want "Big Brother" knowing her every movement. I tried to explain to her that the "glympse feature might turn out to have more advantages than disadvantages. Ironically as she was leaving for a roughly 2 hour trip I said maybe I should just show you how this feature worked; she reluctantly went along. To my surprise, about 10 minutes after she BBMed me and set the glympse for 2 hours. Guess what? the glympse came to her rescue when she hit a road block and I had to navigate her around, through different path. Hopefully she learned that glympse can be a good thing.
I think, if it is used with respect for each others "space and privacy", then no partner will feel abused or cramped. LIFE IS TOO SHORT

No sh*t. I mean, first of all, they can check up you with video calls. Now they've got glympse too. I may have to resort to pulling out the battery and saying my phone died. But the thing is my gf knows I carry a car charger and backup battery at all times so that excuse is useless too. Curse you blackberry!!

Buy cheap android. Download bbm. Sign in with your bbid. Send glympse from android device. Tie device to a rabbit.
You can then cheat away and sign back into your blackberry id on your device!

Of course you will lose the android device but infidelity has its price :P

Tying your device to a rabbit, because you want to go out and screw like one. I like the irony, but maybe another animal would be a better choice.

Here's a pro-tip: When posting a response on a comments board, ask yourself whether a ten-yr-old would snicker at it. If so, your comment is probably inappropriately immature.
