    Just today my bbm began restoring/setup out of nowhere and is stuck on that screen. I turned my z10 on and off and it is still likr that. Is this happening to anyone else???

    It hasn't worked for me for a month.

    I've been asking blackberry on twitter and they just have stupidly obvious solutions for me that don't work.

    "Hey, try taking 2 hours to reload your software"

    Mean while they should take the two seconds to read the entire 150 character message that tells them that you've done that.

    Well Twitter doesn't allow more than 140 characters so whatever you were using, they probably didn't have access to it. That would be why!

    A2323, I'm experiencing the same problem on my z10. It says "A problem has occurred in BBM. Please try again later." Then it tries to restart itself but then says "BBM has lost its connection. Please wait while server attempts to reconnect with server." Sometimes it does successfully restores itself but then it loses its connection again. Could this be related to testing their likely conducting with the new iOS app on the server?

    I don't use BBM, but I have had different network issues with 10.2.

    Sorry, my keyboard disappeared on my Z10. That has been happening since the 10.1mr os came out a while ago. Its actually quite frustrating when you want to text somebody and then the input field disappears...

    I'm running 2.0.1047, but I think that it is an issue with my BlackBerry id because I've had this problem on multiple devices running different os types.

    My solution: I reinstalled my BlackBerry z10 with BlackBerry Link to the latest OS version and the problem is gone. Fortunately, I had backed up my phone a few days ago.
