I have 6 month old Bold. Battery no longer holds charge for long. Battery ran out completely yesterday and now all I can see is black screen and red LED. I've had it 'charging' on PC USB all day but no change. I have tried the battery pull but to no avail.

1. Is it completely dead or can it be resurrected?
2. Why was I not getting much battery life? I was kind to it and gave it juice when it needed it. I turned it off when it told me it wasn't happy.

I hope it is not dead. I don't want to argue with carrier for new one.

Can anyone help pls?

All fixed now. Went home and plugged in to power supply not PC and it charged up like a dream

Weird. Is something wrong with your USB port or possibly cable? Congrats though =)
