    what is EE?
It's the company created by the merger or Orange UK and T-Mobile (in the UK). EE stands for Everything Everywhere. Because of the merger, they had more bandwidth than they needed, so are using part of their 2G frequencies to launch 4G in the UK ahead of the official tender process for the other companies.
